RE: App's for Outlook

Hi Krwelliver,

Your understanding is correct, but I’d like to say something else for further confirmation.

From the Office 365 side, it needs to visit the Microsoft Store when we add an App to the SharePoint online. At this point, we are required to  use a Microsoft ID to add or buy the Apps.

However, regarding to the “Bing Maps” app, I’m afraid it is not an App supported by SharePoint online in Office 365. Based on my search, I’d like to confirm whether you add this app from the following site:  add Bing Maps app.

If yes, it is an app provided by another product channel. Based on my test, I need to use a Microsoft ID to add the app, but I’m not sure whether it can meet your requirements after adding it. In order to get the efficient answers to your question, I recommend you post a new thread in our Office Store forum. After doing that, the community members and engineers there will be focusing on the question from the Office app side. Your understanding is truly appreciated.

The Office Store forum is here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_home-officestore?auth=1.

Thanks,
Maggie Li
