Hi David,
I appreciate such detailed information you updated. As I understand it, OneDrive for Business runs into the following problems on this computer.
Symptom:
========================================
1. You could check the version of SkyDrive Pro/OneDrive for Business because it disappears from the Programs and Features in Control Panel.
2. A sync issue occurs when using OneDrive for Business.
Solutions:

The root cause for client end issue may be very complicated. It’s related to the product compatibility, cache data corruption, specific configurations and so on. We have solutions for OneDrive for Business client issues. Could you follow the steps below to clean the cache, and check if the issue persists?
1. Stop Syncing All Folders. Exit OneDrive for Business. Close the Office 2013 Upload Center.
2. Backup all the local documents & files in your document libraries to another place.
3. After the backup work is done, remove the original documents & files in your local OneDrive for Business folder.
4. Cache clearing for OneDrive for Business.
1) Right click on the Windows status bar, select Start Task Manager, and get a list of running processes by clicking the “Processes” tab.
2) Verify that none of the following processes are running:
groove.exe
msosync.exe
msouc.exe
winword.exe
excel.exe
powerpnt.exe
4. Use windows explorer to delete the following folder
\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0
Note: Where is the user that is currently logged into the machine. Since the AppData folder is a hidden folder you may need to type the path in using Start -> Run-> once you know the folder.
5. Open the registry (Start>Run> then type “regedit” and hit enter) and delete the following registry keys:
HKLM = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
HKCU = HKEY_CURRENT_USER
a. HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0
b. HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\15.0
c. HKCU\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\15.0
d. HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0
6. Installed the latest version OneDirve for Business from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2903984.
7. Try to re-sync the library referring to Sync OneDrive for Business or SharePoint site libraries to your computer.

If the issue persists, it could have other root causes, I’d like to clarify the following information for further troubleshooting.
1. Is there an error message regarding “no longer syncing files”? If so, what’s it?
2. Do all synced folders encounter this issue or a certain folder? If the user only syncs one folder, please try syncing another online library to see if the issue persists.
3. Could you provide the screenshots for the Upload Center and OneDrive for Business icon status? I notice that you uploaded a .PNG screenshot named “0310.screen-shot-2014_2D00_03_2D00_28-at-9.00.54-am.png”. The long file name may cause that this picture doesn’t display correctly. Please try uploading a picture with a simpler name to see if it can work.
4. Additionally, I’d like to collect your tenant information for further investigation.
To protect your privacy, I have sent you a private message (PM). You can reply to that with this information. To access the private message, you can follow the steps below.
