Firstly, I would like to correct you that when the domain is verified, the approval process is triggered to start rather than goes through. Then the backend team will verify the domain eligibility. When the verification is finished, you will receive a notification of approval/denial. The notification email will be delivered to your global admin’s alternative email address. Given this situation, I suggest you keep waiting for the notification.
Besides, since you subscription expires, I would like to collect your tenant information via a private message to help you extend the subscription to prevent any data being lost.
To access the private message:
1). Go to your details section on the right side of the community site.
2). Click Private messages.
3). Click the subject title of the response to read the message.
