According to the description in another thread, I know that you are wandering the benefits between home subscription and business subscription, and currently prefer Office 365 Home Premium subscription. The Office 365 Home Premium and Office 365 Small Business belong to different services and they are very different. I’k like to specify the difference for your reference.
If you want all people in your organization to use the new version of Office. Using Office 365 Small Business Premium is a good suggestion. Office applications can be installed up to 5 PCs/Macs per user who has been assigned the Office ProPlus license. However, the total number of installations from Home Premium is just 5.
If you just want to use the new version of Office by yourself instead of all users in your organization. Home Premium is recommended. As you said, it can be applied to different machines, such as PCs, Macs, and Mobile devices. Regarding the Hosted email, it is one business-class email, it is available for business subscription. Home Premium doesn’t have this feature, but as Chris Ni said, you can achieve it by setting up the Hosted email account on the Outlook desktop from Home Premium.
Since it doesn’t allow you to migrate your original Office 365 Small Business to the Office 365 Small Business Premium directly, I recommend you purchase Office 365 Home Premium to work together with your current Office 365 Small Business subscription. You can connect your existing email service to the Outlook clients provided by Office 365 Home Premium. The Office 365 Home Premium also works smoothly with the SharePoint service provided by Office 365 Small Business.
