Re: Upgrading from trial to paid subscription

Hi Alan,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Do the licenses you’ve purchased is included in the trial subscription you’re using? Also Have you assigned the purchased licenses to the users?

Based on the information you’ve provided, the issue could occur if you haven’t assigned the new licenses to the users, thus Office 365 still treats the users with the trial license assigned as a trial user. To solve the issue, please try the steps below: 

  1. Log into Office 365 Admin Portal as an administrator.
  2. Under the users & groups tab, click Add users, reset passwords, and more.
  3. Select the user, then click the edit icon  in the right panel.
  4. Navigate to the licenses tab, remove the trial license from the user, then assign the new purchased license to the user.

After all the trial users have been assigned with the new purchased licenses, Office 365 will not send you the notice about trial information. For more details, please refer to: Assign or remove a license.
