I tried migrating our public folders to O365, but the process did not work, so I manually created the public folders and manually moved content. I changed the email addresses on the old on prem public folders, but even after 4 days, I'm still not able to re-assign the old email address, to the new O365 public folder. The O365 GAL still shows that the email address is in use by the on prem public folder, even though it is not.
Does anyone know how to update the O365 GAL to show the current email addresses for the on prem public folders? (or manually delete the old information from the O365 GAL)?
