1. Have you verified your domain in Office 365 or just on the way to verify your domain?
Answer - This has been verified. I am on step 5 of the setup process where O365 wants to verify the DNS Nameservers. It still thinks it's pointing to NS1.wix.com
2. Do you want to keep using your current public website hosted at Wix.com or switch to use the public website provided by Office 365?
Answer - As far as I am concerned, we can drop the wix.com and host a public website at O365. I will make a new webpage altogether.
3. Based on the description “What actually needs to have the MX records updated”, which kind of MX record do you need to add?
Answer - Previously when my mail was hosted at GoDaddy, I had to add the MX Record information at Wix.com. I didn't know if I needed to change that information to point to O365.
Please note: There are two kinds of MX records in Office 365. One is for the verification process with a value like MX=mxxxxxx. The other is a MX records which will determine who is your email service provider.
4. Do you want to change to use the email service from Office 365 or keep using the email service from Go Daddy?
Answer - I am dropping GoDaddy. The mail will only be hosted at O365. Hence the migration question on a separate thread. I didn't know if exporting / importing the .pst would be sufficient enough or if I needed to use a Migration Service (MigrationWiz) or some other Migration Tool offered by O365.
5. Whether you want to let Office 365 be your DNS hosting provider or keep Wix.com be your DNS hosting provider?
Answer - which ever is the 'best' way and cleanest way. Does it matter who does the DNS hosting? If I understand correctly, if DNS is hosted at O365 then you have to tell O365, what the IP address is for the website. If the DNS is hosted at Wix.com, then I have to add the MX Record to point to O365 mail. One or the other. It would seem having O365 host the DNS is the best solution.
6. Based on the description “While signing up for O365 the setup has me enter…. O365 then had me change the Name servers to point to O365”, could you please provide some releant screenshots on this?
Answer - I can't back up to that position. However, the nameservers I entered are
