When I followed the directions in the link you supplied, the dialogue box for Network Passwords is empty. Also, the picture you sent showing directions for how to access the credential manager does not appear on my computer. I do not have a Credential Manager link under my User Accounts in Control Panel.
I do store passwords using a finger print reader and Lenovo software. When I use it, the correct user name and password are entered into the dialogue box. Previous to this problem, however, I never had to swipe a finger or enter my user name and password...Outlook and Lync just connected automatically. The first time 365 prompts for credentials, it usually requires a finger swipe. After that it just comes up with the dialogue box filled in.
