I have activated a cutover migration synchronization, and most mailboxes from the primary domain (the one that the mpst users use) have been synched. However, none of the mailboxes on the same local Exchangeserver that receive mail for other domains have synched any content to O365. The accounts and mailboxes were provisioned but no content was ever synched.
Autodiscover is not set up for any of the domains, I entered the info for rpc proxy and exchange server manually instead. O365 complains in the status report for the failed users that the failed mailboxes could not use autodiscover to sync the mail from the endpoint. As I say, autodiscover is not set up so this is understandable.
How can I sync the content of the remaining boxes from the other domains? Should not the manually entered information in the migration batch be sufficient to also pull the information from these boxes that uses different primary email domain? They all live on the same onprem Exchange server. The IdFix tool is happy and UPN suffix in AD is set to correspond to the primary e-maildomain. How come autodiscover seem needed for all domains apart from the main domain? I do hope we don't need to set up autodiscover for a server that is about to be removed...
